This is great Lisa!! I will forever think differently of Don. I liked him because of his recent interview with Jan 6 cop (now ex-cop) Michael Fanone, author of "Hold the Line." HOWEVER, I didn't know all of this about Don. Thank you so much for this piece. And, the opening line is perfect!!
Thanks, Lisa. It's only when all of us (men included, but happening too rarely and too slowly) call out all the slings and arrows aimed at women. Period. It's not only about women of a certain age, but there's a "drip" factor that rains down on younger women, too. Apologies like Don Lemon's" are pathetic.
There was zero interest in looks in the house I grew up in, hence, the whole Instagram selfie phenomenon has taken me completely by surprise. My mom always said, "Beauty is only skin deep. But ugly goes clear to the bone."
